The shop was established in the 80’s as a service center specializing
in traction motors and railroad generators. With the addition of equipment
and capabilities, came a larger, more diverse customer base. In 1998,
alongside a change in ownership, the shop was rebranded as Western
Industrial Motor & Machine, Inc. Fast-forward to 2025 and WIMM provides
excellent customer service in 6+ states. We are proud to offer services to
many of the most popular ski companies in the Northwest. As well as
providing products and services to many agricultural, manufacturing, mining, and
production plant customers. Locally owned and operated, WIMM goes above
and beyond to provide the best possible service before AND after the
